Sometimes the basics are hard. Things like getting groceries, setting up appointments, and keeping up with laundry are hard and scary. And they have to be done day after day after day.
I have struggled with this myself. In my time in social work, I have seen folks struggle with these problems in many different ways. Each individual comes to the world with a different mindset and unique challenges and must develop strategies that work for them.
That’s where I think I can help you. Together can we come up with concrete plans to help make the basics easier, so you can do the things you actually want to do.

Unpack Expectations
What we feel like we need to do comes from people and systems outside of us. In my practice, we break down those expectations, look at where they come from, and how we as individuals relate.
Centering the Individual
Each person is operating from a unique background, with a unique perspective, and addressing unique challenges. Effectively working through these issues requires goals and practices tailored to you.
Taking Small Steps
Everyone goes at their own pace through life. We want to create sustainable and achievable practices that aren't overwhelming and feel good to you.

I'm first and foremost concerned about you. If money is an issue, please don't worry about it. I work on a sliding scale, so we can figure that out, but my first priority is making sure that things are moving in the right direction for you.
